About Lloyd:

Born in Manhattan, NYC. Harvard Business School MBA, McGill University (Montreal) for BA (economics). Worked for large companies first half of career in marketing - P&G, J&J, Schering-Plough (now Merck). Started small dermatology drug development company. Started contract clinical research company; clients were drug and biotech companies; grew to 200 professionals; sold to Fortune 500. Continued to run it and sold it again for new buyers to public, Indian life sciences company. Continued to run it for another year, which also included managing Indian operation. Subsequently ran small manufacturing firm making plastic promotional items in China for US market (pharmaceutical companies). Have been angel investor since 2008 and a member of 4 different angel networks. Developing venture in Poland given greater business potential there than in US and affinity for that country.

Looking for:

Technologies outside of Poland offering commercial or R&D potential in Poland or vice versa. Also, eventually seeking additional partners in Poland for geographic expansion of medical service concept.

Skill set:

Serial entrepreneur originally from the US who started two companies, one of which was highly successful and sold to a US Fortune 500 company. Experience in starting a company from zero and building it. Also serve as a coach to new entrepreneurs.
